The nominees have officially been announced for the 57th annual ACM Award show.
Chris Young earned a whopping seven nominations, three of which are for his collaboration with Kane Brown on "Famous Friends," while Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton each have five.
After being banned from last years ACM and CMA Awards, Morgan Wallen has returned in the mix with four nominations, including male artist of the year and album of the year, which isn't surprising since he holds the title for the best selling album of 2021. There appears to be no ban from attending the show this year for Wallen. Whether he shows up or not is a different story.
The ACM's will be hosted by Dolly Parton, Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett and will be live on Amazon Prime with zero commercials for the first time since CBS dropped the Academy for dwindling ratings. I doubt the ratings will be stronger this year, personally.
