This morning, it was announced that Keith Whitley, along with Jerry Lee Lewis and Joe Galante, are the newest inductees into the Country Music Hall Of Fame.
Hosted by Brooks & Dunn, Keith's wife, Lorrie Morgan, was there to accept the honor on his behalf.
"Music was all about emotion to Keith. There were so many great artists he admired, even worshipped. To stand tin their company in the Hall Of Fame would've been overwhelmingly emotional for him."
Keith Whitley passed at the age of just 34 but had one hell of a career, inspiring many artists after him. He still has one of the best voices to ever exist in the genre.
