Pretty crazy, right?
Last night, George Strait took home the award for Performance Of The Year, making it his first ever win at the CMT Awards.
The Performance that made him this years winner was a tribute to Charley Pride with "Is Anybody Going To San Anyone."
George wasn't in attendance at the award show but did record a video to give a short speech.
"This was really special for me because it was a tribute song to the late Charley Pride. I want to say hi to Charley's family out there."
