This past week, Eric Church made headlines when he canceled a show in San Antonio, Texas, to attend a Final Four basketball game.
A lot of fans were understanding and sympathetic to The Chief but a number of fans were pissed off and called him selfish because they had bought plane tickets and reserved hotel rooms to see him live months in advance.
After the blowback, it appears Eric Church is trying to due right by fans and making it up to them big time.
Today, he announced a FREE show in New Braunfels, Texas at the Whitewater Amphitheater on September 2nd. Read his official statement below.
