A few months back, Cody Johnson covered "She's Actin' Single," a song written by Wayne Carson and first recorded and released by Gary Stewart.
Since the songs original release in 1975, multiple artists such as Randy Rogers Band and Ronnie Dunn have recorded their own versions. Looks like we gotta get a petition going for Cody to release a studio version as well.
Let it be known, She's Actin' Single (I'm Drinkin' Doubles,) was Gary Stewarts only No. 1 song of his career, yet its impact in the genre has been huge, proving it to be timeless.
